Only changes that alter what a business should do, pay or expect make the table. If you are looking for a change that is not here, it either did not clear that bar or we have not verified it yet, and we would rather leave a gap than repeat a rumour.
We watch the platforms' own surfaces every day: the Meta for Developers blog and newsroom, the WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger changelogs, the WhatsApp pricing pages, LINE for Business, and Telegram's release notes, plus the tech press as a signal for anything those surfaces are slow to show. Press coverage tells us where to look. It is never the source we quote.

Every post separates two things that vendors like to blur: what the platform actually announced, in its own words and with the date we read it, and what that is likely to mean for you. The second part is our judgement and is labelled as such. Where a Meta page is served from a stale cache, and they often are, we say which page and which date rather than guessing.

If you run WhatsApp for a business in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia, these are the four dates worth knowing by heart this year.

The 1 October guide covers the last two in depth, with the seven practices that keep the bill down. We don't quote a Hong Kong or Singapore per-message rate anywhere on this site, because Meta publishes rate cards per currency and updates them on its own schedule; read the card for your market on the day you budget.
Most platform changes need nothing from an imBee customer, because the account, the templates and the billing relationship are handled on our side. When a change does need something from you, the post says so in its first section and your account manager will already know. For everyone else, the checklist above is the whole method: read the platform's page rather than a summary of it, check the date on that page, separate what changed from what a vendor says it means, and then look at your own account for the three things that can actually move: what you pay, what you may send, and what you must have on file.

If you want to talk any of it through, our team (imBee is an Official Meta Technology Partner) works with businesses across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and will tell you plainly whether a change matters for you.
How often is this page updated?
The platforms' own surfaces are checked every day, and a row is added on the day a change is verified at its primary source. A change that only appears in press coverage or on a vendor blog is not added until the platform's own announcement, changelog entry or pricing page confirms it.
Which platforms does it cover?
The WhatsApp Business Platform first, because it carries most business messaging in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, then Instagram, Messenger, LINE, WeChat and Telegram, and SMS and RCS as the fallback channels. Consumer app features are included only when they change something for business accounts.
Where do the facts come from?
From the platform's own pages: the Meta for Developers blog and newsroom, the WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger changelogs, the WhatsApp pricing pages, LINE for Business announcements and Telegram's release notes. Each post quotes the source and states the date it was read, because some of these pages are served from caches that can be months old.
Does a platform change affect my imBee account automatically?
Usually not in a way that needs your action. Account settings, template management and the billing relationship with Meta sit on the imBee side. When a change does require something from you, such as a new opt-in wording or a template update, the linked post says so first and your account manager follows up.
