imBee WhatsApp Coexistence

Previously, moving to the API meant "burning the bridge." You would lose access to the mobile app, potentially lose chat history, and your sales team would lose the ability to reply quickly on the go using the native interface they loved.

Today, imBee is thrilled to announce WhatsApp Coexistence. We are tearing down the wall between the App and the API. Now, you can use both simultaneously on the same phone number.

This hybrid approach is designed for businesses that need to scale but aren't ready to give up the agility of the native mobile app.

• On the Phone: Your sales reps can continue using the WhatsApp Business App on their mobile devices to handle 1:1 relationships, answer calls, and reply instantly.
• On imBee: Your marketing and support teams can utilize our Omnichannel Inbox, imBee AI (Generative AI), and Workflow Automation to manage high volumes of inquiries and run campaigns.

It is the ultimate bridge between personal connection and enterprise scalability.
‍

Here is what you can achieve with Coexistence on imBee:

1. Zero Data Loss: One of the biggest fears of upgrading was losing chat history. With Coexistence, your past conversations (up to 6 months) are synced to imBee. You start with your history intact.
2. Seamless Syncing: It’s a 2-way street. Messages sent from the mobile app appear in imBee, and messages sent via imBee appear on the mobile app. Your team stays in the loop regardless of which interface they use.
3. Scale with Automation: While your sales team chats manually on their phones, you can set up imBee’s Workflow Automation in the background to handle FAQs, route complex queries, or send out marketing broadcasts to 250+ contacts—capabilities the standard app simply doesn't have.
4. Empower with AI: By connecting your number to imBee, you unlock imBee AI, to draft responses and summarize conversations, even if the chat originated on the mobile app.

‍

What Syncs:

• Individual (1:1) Chats: Fully synced 2-way.
• Contacts: 1-way sync from the App to imBee.
• Media & Documents: Images, videos, and files are shared seamlessly.

What stays on the Mobile App:

• Group Chats & Calls: Voice/Video calls and Group chats remain exclusive to the WhatsApp Business App (they won't clutter your imBee inbox), ensuring your team can still hop on calls without restriction.

What stays on imBee:

• Broadcast Analytics: Detailed reports on your marketing campaigns.
• Advanced Assignment: Routing rules to assign chats to specific agents automatically.
